Welcome to Hyannis Inner Harbor!
We are the final destination of the newly constructed “Walkway to the Sea.” Starting from the statue of Iyanough at the top of the Village Green and making its way past the Vietnam Veteran’s Memorial and Town Hall, the walkway opens up at the corner of South and Ocean streets, giving those strolling a beautiful view of Lewis Bay and the Inner Harbor just beyond Aselton Memorial Park. Through the park to the left, is the site of the Cape Cod Maritime Museum. Following the waterfront is the Hy-Line Gift Shop, offering local souvenirs, clothing and other interesting items. Stop in at Spanky’s Clam Shack for drinks and a bite to eat or browse the harbor Bait and Tackle Shop and get a tip on what they’re catching and where.
Hyannis, the “Homeport of Cape Cod” boasts the area’s largest concentration of businesses, shops, motels, hotels, restaurants and entertainment spots. In the Main Street Waterfront District, you’ll find the JFK Hyannis Museum, JFK Memorial Park, town beaches, parks, antique stores, gift shops and the Cape Cod Baseball League.
Park your car and spend some time in Hyannis….
